Vidya Jyothi is not just another ordinary school magazine, from another ordinary school. It is a portrayal and an exhibit of the success, creations, innovations and traditions of a unique school that is into existence for over the past three decades, and will continue to be so for many years to come.

In this biennial edition of Vidya Jyothi, we bring to you all the happenings of Bhavan's during the academic year 2010-2011 – right from the fun-filled celebrations and educational activities that happen round the year, to the energetic sports day and the annual day extravaganza.

We have introduced 4 new sections in this year's magazine – 'Impressions', which carries the messages and impressions of eminent visitors to the school; 'Teachers' Corner', which encompasses the photographs of all the teachers and staff in a departmental-wise manner; 'Science Corner', which exclusively documents all the scientific activities that take place throughout the year; and 'Alumni Speak', which contains reminiscences and messages of the school's alumni.

All the contents have been put together in a colourful and picturesque style, by the freshly constituted editorial team that includes young and dynamic students from Class 11, and highly-experienced teacher editors who have been a part of the Vidya Jyothi magazine nearly since its inception.

In the history of the school, this is the very first time that the school magazine Vidya Jyothi is being made available on the internet for everyone to see and everyone to download! This opens up a new opportunity for the alumni, parents, and many other people to view the magazine, even if they are not a part of the school. We hope that you like this new feature of VidyaJyothi.
